More stuff on Multiplayer!

Wow. It’s been nearly a month since I’ve last typed another one of these up – sorry about the long wait, but I simply didn’t get round to it (but to compensate, there’s a ton of new White Glove Diaries… whaddya mean I need to keep a steady flow of these things?! ;-D) – anyway, onto the dramatic one line opening sentence:

There’s been a slight change-around in the multiplayer department!

Wow! How dramatic! Uh, seriously – Capture the Flag mode is no more. The whole premise of attacking another Sonic would have been too complex, when the multiplayer modes should be nice and simple. Doing just that is it’s replacement – Tag mode.

The premise is very simple – tag another player. Each character (Sonic, Tails and Knuckles) will have his own special attributes to help them… Sonic can run from the clutches of any incoming players, or quickly catch players nearby. Tails can fly away or take shortcuts to tag other players, while Knuckles can climb up a wall and hide in the shadows (but to avoid simply taking root up there and no-one catching him / no-one being tagged, there will be a time limit) and Knuckles can drop onto unsuspecting victims and tag them.

…Actually, this more of an announcement than an editorial, but it was a good announcement!

Right?

Next time: SRB2:XMAS CD!
